On April 11, 2022 the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial started at the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse in Virginia. Actor Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife, Amber Heard, for $50 million. The charges include damages of his reputation and career after Heard had posted an article off of The Washington Post in 2016, stating that she was a public victim of sexual and domestic abuse.

This was the first musical since Rock Of Ages in 2020, before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. After having a shortened ceremony last year, they returned with a grand live one this year. This was the 28th year, making its debut in 1995. It has been a huge hit since then.

Social media star Kim Kardashian’s latest court filing states that Kim wants to be declared single in hopes for music artist Kanye West to move on. As of March 2022, Kanye West still continues his clapbacks towards Kim on Instagram. “Kanye has been putting misinformation regarding our private manners and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress,” Kim said in the filing.

Bill Cosby and His Attorney Deny Recent Allegations in Fear of Jail Time Again

Bill Cosby is a now-retired stand up comedian, actor, and author who was especially famous during the 1980s sitcom The Cosby Show. Cosby was recently released from prison on June 30, 2021 for allegations, including rape and sexual harassment towards some women in the mid 1960’s through the 1990’s. Almost all of Bill Cosby’s allegations have taken place at the Comedy Club in Philadelphia and at the Playboy Mansion in California.

Broadway’s Back! The Reopening of Broadway During Covid

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Broadway was forcibly shut down for almost 20 months. In September 2021, Broadway opened its doors again and welcomed back its viewers.  There were conditions to this reopening - important changes needed to be made in order for performers and audience members to remain safe and keep the curtains up for as long as possible.
