The show constantly has watchers wondering what was really going on, much like the show, Black Mirror, where the viewers knew there was going to be an underlying plot twist.

United Airlines Mandates COVID Tests Before Boarding

On January 26, 2021, United Airlines and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), officially began mandating travel notices regarding COVID-19 restrictions. Travelers coming into or through the United States are now required to secure a negative Covid test within the previous three days or documentation regarding recovery from COVID-19. These implementations have been placed in order to make flying safer for passengers on the airline.

The Craze of WandaVision

Marvel fans have submerged themselves into the new series, WandaVision. Actors, who play roles in the infamous Avengers series, star in the new sitcom. The main characters are Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Vision, played by Paul Bettany. The show follows the story of the married couple. This popular show follows the Avengers storyline.

TikTok Musical Raises $2 Million

In December 2020, people were shocked with the news of a new musical, created on the popular social app, TikTok. A trend was started where creators wrote music, choreographed, made costumes and merchandise, and even made a Playbill for an adaption of Pixar’s 2007 hit film, Ratatouille. The show premiered on January 1 and viewers could see it until January 4. The tickets were available online for $5.

The 2021 Virtual Thespian Festival for NHS Students

On January 16-18, 2021, the annual NJ Thespian Festival occurred virtually, where thespian troupes from the state came together to participate in numerous theatrical events. Along with these performance and technical presentations, opportunities were provided to take part in workshops and conferences with professionals in theatre. 17 students from Nutley High School participated in this event, via Zoom, by uploading personal performances for their judges.

Due to Covid-19, several activities and entertainment performed at Nutley High School have been either delayed or cancelled. Mr. Vincent Vicchiariello , NHS music and band teacher, has been in charge of the winter concerts for the past several years. This year, several restrictions have been implemented, making these concerts not possible. As a result, Mr. V.

How The Entertainment Industry Is Coping During the Pandemic

All restaurants and stores, throughout the United States, were closed down for months. The world going through a nationwide lockdown has made everyone feel hopeless. Nothing could ever prepare someone for this type of tragedy. Almost all of the American people have had to put their lives on hold for nine months.

NHS Annual Fall Play: The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Nutley High School’s annual fall play will continue to be performed and live-streamed on November 14th at 7:00PM. With the help of Julia Resnick, as director and NHS Senior, and Mr. Michael Gurrieri, as producer and advisor of the International Thespian Society, the show was able to be completely student run and produced. Tickets will be available to buy during the first week of November.
