Writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, of Riverdale fame, has a new spin off called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and it is inspired by the show that aired in the fall of 1996 called Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The series stars Kiernan Shipka of Mad Men as Sabrina. Sabrina is a young woman that is struggling to choose between becoming a witch like her family or remaining mortal/human. This is a hard decision for her as forces of evil conspire against her.

Welcome Baby Sussex to the world. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their little bundle of joy on May 6, 2019. They appeared with their baby for the first time at  St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle two days after he was born. After appearing outside, they announced his name on Instagram; Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Spring is here and the warm weather means outdoor parties, barbecues, long walks in the park and a good playlist to listen to with all the hits so far from 2019.  New music from Lil Nas X, Ariana Grande, Jonas Brothers and more are topping the charts. A variety of new songs debuted in Pop, Rap and Country and Billboard Charts released the current hits of each genre so far in 2019.

In the beginning of October, Nutley High School introduced Mr. Joseph Bevacqua to the students and staff as the new financial literacy teacher. The other financial literacy teacher, Ms. Hart, is new to the district as well.

On November 6, 2018, the Nutley residents came out to vote for or against the school district’s referendum. The referendum focused on additions to John H. Walker Middle School, Washington, Yantacaw, and NHS. If the referendum had passed, the trailers at Washington and Yantacaw would have been removed, with additional space added, the sixth graders would have moved into an expanded middle school and the high school would gain much needed space.  The proposals also added enhanced security to the district.
