One million animal species are dying out, and the fingers are mostly pointed at humanity. Examples of well known species that have made the endangered list are giraffes, sea turtles, and Asian elephants. Losing any of these animals will not only be a loss for zoos, but it will also be detrimental to the ecosystem overall. According to wwf.panda.org, the annual extinction rate is 0.01% which means we are losing at least 10,000 species a year.

Nutley High School's performance of Pippin took place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 9, 10 and 11. This three-night spectacle of a show was directed by NHS English teacher Michael Gurrieri and choir teacher, Nicole Monte.
Theater in Nutley High School kicked off during the 2017-2018 school year with a performance of Arthur Miller’s critically-acclaimed The Crucible. The play was performed in the NHS auditorium the weekend of November 3, 4 and 5. Then, on November 8, all students interested in the spring musical production gave up half of their lunch period for the reveal of the 2018 spring musical in the choir room. A sea of confused and ecstatic expressions filled the room as the sound of “Magic To Do” played from the radio.
