Senior Night marked the final home meet of the season for Nutley Track and Field as they faced Payne Tech at DeMuro Park.

Before the meet began, seniors were recognized in a short ceremony. Underclassmen presented them with posters and red flowers, and families gathered along the track to take pictures and celebrate their last home meet. “It was really nice to see everything come together for the seniors,” freshman Arabella Miller said. “They’ve done a lot for the team, so it felt good being able to support them like that.”

Laughter filled the auditorium as the cast of Once Upon A Mattress took the stage this past weekend, bringing the classic fairytale to life with humor, strong vocals, and plenty of unexpected moments that had the audience entertained from beginning to end.

Stepping into Diva Nails on Kingsland Ave. feels less like entering a nail salon and more like walking into a zen, positive atmosphere. Walking past Pete’s Deli, you can smell all the amazing food even before you go inside. “Everything is always very good and fresh when you go to Pete’s. Sandwiches are awesome. The eggplant parmesan is amazing,” one Yelp reviewer said. A lot of people agree. The smell alone is enough to make you drool.
