Gun violence against children in the United States has increased over the years. Children of all ages are affected by the gun violence. Experts say that this drastic increase in gun violence is partially caused by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as easy access to guns. Some other causes are arguments and social media. It is much easier to make comments about someone in mean ways over social media. Gun violence has been on the rise in the more recent years.

On November 20, 2021, there was a stabbing in Bellville, NJ at 5:06 pm. While a woman was walking home from her job, she was stabbed multiple times by an unknown person. The Belleville police were notified that there was an injured woman in the area of 22 Howard Place in Belleville, NJ. They responded to the report, and found a woman with multiple stab wounds.

On October 20, 2021, there were multiple articles released about an outstanding medical success. For the first time ever, surgeons attached a pig kidney to a human and it worked successfully.
