Kim Kardashian Is Officially Single
Social media star Kim Kardashian’s latest court filing states that Kim wants to be declared single in hopes for music artist Kanye West to move on. As of March 2022, Kanye West still continues his clapbacks towards Kim on Instagram. “Kanye has been putting misinformation regarding our private manners and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress,” Kim said in the filing. Although Kanye has not seemed to be handling the divorce well, Kim does ask to put her marriage status as single so she can begin the healing process for herself and her family.
Kanye West has reportedly accused Kim Kardashian of kidnapping their 4-year- old daughter, Chicago, and also accused Kim of ordering a hit on him. As much as the two superstars divorce is already hard enough, Kanye’s lawyers have stated that they were facing difficulties in trying to get in contact with Kanye. March 2nd the judge granted Kim Kardashian's request and she is now legally declared single. Kim has decided to take out West and be known as just Kim Kardashian.
During Kim’s court hearing call, her lawyer, Laura Wasser claimed that Kanye was absent during the call and Kanye's lawyers did not object to the restoring of Kim’s single status. Kanye’s Lawyer said he had three conditions. One, any right to get reimbursement of money that’s supposed to be divided up will be preserved in case either one of them dies. The judge did grant that condition but, the judge did reject the other two conditions that included that Kim would not transfer any assets she had trust in, and if Kim remarried she would waive the “marital privilege.”
According to TMZ, Kanye West and his legal team continue to resist and make arguments in court about the prenup and questioning whether Kanye West actually wrote the nasty social media post in which he also claims he wasn’t hacked. The ex-couple have been going back and forth in court about the progress that has been made and the progress that hasn't resulted in their divorce. As a result of Kanye West calling out Kim on Instagram, Kim clapped back by stating that Kanye has been through three lawyers throughout one year alone.
As Kanye West still tries to win Kim back, he denies he had seen any of the divorce papers at all. Problems between the two, including boundaries of visitation have arisen and questions about the way their children are being raised. Not long ago, Kanye had called out many other major celebrities as his declaration of “the civil war.
Kim Kardashian’s court filing says, “I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children.” Kim Kardashian wishes for Kanye West to cooperate in order for her children to be raised in a healthy co-parenting way and help Kanye to move on.
