A Tribute to Betty White

Ninety-nine year old superstar, Betty White, passed away only 17 days prior to her 100th birthday. The beloved actress, most known for her roles in Golden Girls and The Proposal, suffered from a stroke that took her life.

Betty White has been a natural on television since the 1940s. At only 20-years-old, White acted on various radio shows, regularly being on television, and even becoming a host. Her Hollywood career spanned more than 70 years, winning many awards, such as Grammys and Emmys. White went on to fall in love and find her husband, Allen Ludden. They got married in 1963, and were together until his passing in 1981.

On December 31st, White passed away in her home in Los Angeles, California. According to her death certificate obtained by E! News, she suffered from a cerebrovascular accident, commonly known as a stroke. She had suffered a stroke six days before she passed away.

A few weeks prior to her death, she told People Magazine that, “she was so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age.” There were rumors going around about how she had passed from the COVID-19 vaccine, however her agent Jeff Witjas debunked them all. “People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier, but that is not true. She died of natural causes. Her death should not be politicized - that is not the life she lived,” states Witjas.

Bob Saget, the loving American Comedian and Full House star passed away on January 9th, only at the age of 65. Before his passing, he had written and reflected on Bettys death stating. “ She always said the love of her life was her husband, Allen Luden, who she lost in 1981. Well if things work out by Betty’s design — in the afterlife, they are reunited.”

Although she didn't make it to 100, she lived a lovely 99 years and her name will forever be cherished in American History. Rest in Peace to Betty White.
