Raiders Speak On Tom Brady's Retirement . . . Again

Seven time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady announced his official retirement from the National Football League (NFL) on February 1, 2023, the same day he had retired a year earlier, before returning back to the NFL on March 13, 2022. Sophomore Kattie Guerrero said, “I’m actually very surprised he retired just because it seemed like he was never going to leave. I’m really sad, too. I’m a Cowboys fan but was always a huge Tom Brady fan especially when he was on the Patriots.” 

People argue that Tom Brady should have remained retired in 2022 because of his admirable career, and that there was no point in him returning back at all because he had nothing left to prove. Paraprofessional Michael Baglione said, “I never really saw a point in him coming back to the NFL because of the amazing career he already had. I was never really a huge fan of his but you can’t deny the fact that he was a really great player. It’s sad to see him go but he’s getting older and it’s definitely his time.”

Although his retirement seems legit this time around, it’s still a mystery to the world if he will stay retired. Athletic Director Joe Pirro said, “I was skeptical when hearing about his retirement because of his last return to the NFL. Being a Steelers fan I hope he stays retired. I was never a Tom Brady fan but eventually I had to respect how good he was. Watching him play he did some things with football that some people should never be able to do. But most quarterbacks only last about four or five years, so how much longer can he really stay in the NFL...you know what I mean?” 

With Brady’s career supposedly coming to an end, it will be interesting to see where the football champion heads next.
